Firefox 9 is now available to download from the official Firefox website. A significant change of firefox 9 over 8 is the addition of type inference to the JavaScript engine, which improves JS execution speed by 20 to 30%.The other browsers like internet explorer, chrome and safari do not use this type of interface and hence firefox 9.0 comes with an all new browsing experience.
Along with a bunch of bugs and stability fixes, and overall speed increment, the Mac OS X version of Firefox 9 now allows for “two finger swipe navigation,” and deeper theme integration.
